and the Roslyn Film
Festival (now in its
fourth year) to benefit the Roslyn Fire Company.

coordinated the Roslyn
Health Fair (to
benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand and Doctors without Borders)
and the Roslyn Home
Improvement Fair (to
benefit Habitat for Humanity).
Drastically
improved
communication throughout
our ward via newsletters, increased town meetings,
and e-blasts.

GETTING
THINGS DONE
Championed
the proposed new
Roslyn Library Complex.
Successfully
fought for commissioner
meetings to be televised.
Helped
to procure almost $2,000,000 in various county and
state revitalization
grants.
Supported
improvement
projects
in our community, including flashing pedestrian
crossing system, business facade upgrades, and
pipe installations to remediate groundwater
flooding.
Worked
with Environmental Advisory Council for passage of
clean
renewable energy
initiative.
Organized
friendship
project
in collaboration with Marine Corps unit based in
Iraq.
ABOUT
LORI
Lori
is a 20-year resident of Montgomery County and a
proud 11-year Roslyn homeowner. A college
professor, social worker, activist, and volunteer,
she was elected Ward 14's Commissioner in
2005. She has been honored to serve the
people of our ward and all the resides of Abington
Township. Lori looks forward to continuing
her tireless work for the ongoing revitalization
of our vibrant community.
